I am a Pearl High School graduate and an alumnus of Harvard University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Psychology.  I have volunteered and worked for several nonprofit tutoring companies, and have even helped found a summer ACT workshop prior to becoming CEO of the tutoring and test preparation company, Stellar Futures.  Last year, I worked part time at Pearl High School teaching ACT and PSAT preparation to select groups of students.

 

Over this past summer, I completed the Mississippi Alternate Path to Quality Teachers program and received my 5 year teaching license, and this is my first year as a full time teacher. These jobs combine for over 8 years experience in instructing students of all levels in everything from advanced topics like calculus, chemistry, and physics; to basic math and verbal skills; and even computer repair.  

 

I was also the first in his family to graduate from college, so I know what it takes to go from public school in Mississippi to achieving college dreams, and I pass this knowledge on to my students.
